This position reports to the Facilities Director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to; 1. Installation of building hardware and fixtures, as needed. 2. Clean and maintain swimming pools. 3. Prep and paint exterior and interior of buildings. 4. Light woodworking 5. Assist with other general club responsibilities as needed 6. Light electrical 7. Light plumbing 8. General overall knowledge of all trades
EDUCATION AND JOB KNOWLEDGE
High School diploma or equivalent. Should have a minimum of 3 yrs. experience in building maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or related fields. Preference to have a general understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and plumbing systems. Swimming pool knowledge highly desirable but not required. Will train on pool operations.
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physical position that requires, at times, heavy lifting and carrying (50 lbs.) in all climates. Climbing ladders, the ability to work on ones feet for long periods, a wide range of physical activities such as, pushing and pulling objects (50-100 lbs.) crouching, kneeling, bending and working overhead, repetitive hand, finger motions are necessary. The ability to communicate in English is required. Must have reliable transportation. Basic computer skills are required to complete work requests, schedule work, and respond to emails. Must be able to work independently with minimal or no supervision. This position is eligible for health and dental benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and sick time.
