Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Porter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our job site. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are well-kept, organized, and ready for optimal operation. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces, ensuring a spotless environment at all times. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, using an M20 floor scrubber, and skid steer to remove trash Assist with floor care activities like buffing, polishing, and maintaining flooring surfaces to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal. Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs, reporting larger issues promptly, and ensuring equipment is in good working order. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and custodial equipment operation. Prior experience with industrial cleaning tasks or facilities maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending comfortably. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team effectively.
