Job Description
After 90 days of successful employment a $300 bonus will be rewarded Overview We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and institutional environments. Your efforts will ensure that our spaces are safe, sanitary, and welcoming for all occupants and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to environmental safety practices. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance. Execute carpet cleaning tasks utilizing specialized equipment to remove stains and dirt effectively. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables to ensure continuous availability. Follow established safety protocols and environmentally friendly cleaning procedures to promote health and sustainability. Maintain cleaning equipment by performing routine inspections and reporting any repairs needed. Assist with waste removal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and buffing. Familiarity with environmental services standards and safety regulations related to cleaning operations. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and vacuums safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
