Facilities Technician Part-Time

Be a part of building great futures with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is hiring for a part time Facilities Technician . This will be a summer role ending on or around August 30, 2026 working 30 - 40 hours per week.

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance functions related to maintaining the appearance and functionality of Club buildings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs all cleaning duties for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South buildings including cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, sweeping steps, washing windows and woodwork, dusting, washing and waxing floors, collecting and dumping trash in garbage dumpsters daily, keeping parking lot and outdoor space free of debris. Sets up for programs and events Notifies Facility Directors of all needed repairs Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Cleaning and maintaining outside grounds Assist with special events and building projects Driving to and from our Taunton Clubhouse, Brockton Clubhouse and Camp Riverside using a company vehicle Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be organized and reliable. Flexibility to work clubhouse hours, especially as seasons and service needs change. Familiarity with and knowledge of relevant maintenance equipment Requires ability to prioritize daily task list Ability to read and interpret instructions related to equipment repair and maintenance Ability to make independent decisions based on good business practices Effective communication skills and moderate computer skills If you feel you'd be a great fit for this role, we'd love to hear from you!
