Duties Operate professional carpet cleaning equipment to remove stains, dirt, and allergens from various types of carpets and rugs. Perform comprehensive floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing hard surfaces to restore their shine and durability. Conduct janitorial and custodial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain overall cleanliness. Assess each job site to determine the most effective cleaning methods and products suitable for the specific environment. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a secure working environment. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance or specialized cleaning services. Complete detailed service reports and recordkeeping to track completed jobs and materials used. Qualifications Previous experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or environmental cleaning is highly desirable. Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and the use of professional cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy equipment or materials, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
