Janitor and Cleaner

Responsibilities:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (Weekend Position Available). There is also a weekend position available for the same role.

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Perform facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Operate buffing machines to maintain the cleanliness and shine of floors
• Serve as a porter by emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties
• Perform floor care tasks, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and waxing floors

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
