• Part-time, Full-time Role and Responsibilities Provide routine cleaning and sanitation services for the entire facility to include internal, external and restroom sanitation.

Provide routine maintenance on equipment (change light bulbs/lamps, replace ceiling tiles, etc) Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including those related to childcare environments. Follow Health and Safety standards for use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Safe handling and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor. Secure cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure child safety. Support special events by setting up or cleaning up as needed. Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working around children, families, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director and/or Administrator Leadership Potential

• Manager Role and Responsibilities Train, supervise, and support custodial staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and deep-cleaning schedules for the entire facility. Monitor and maintain custodial equipment, including routine inspections and coordinating repairs as needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements Be at least 21 years of age Have a driver's license Be able to pass a background check for childcare licensing requirements Complete online safety trainings as required for childcare licensing Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in schools or childcare settings. Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper chemical handling. Ability to work independently and follow established routines. Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children. Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail. Physical and Environmental Requirements Be able to lift 25‐50 lbs , walk, squat/kneel, and sit on the floor Be able to stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Be able to raise objects from a lower to higher location or moving objects horizontally from one location to another
