The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role is vital in supporting the overall operations of our organization by upholding high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. Duties Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment Assist with basic facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning procedures Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Adhere to established cleaning schedules and standards to ensure consistent facility appearance Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and clean environment while developing skills in facilities maintenance.
