We're hiring a
JANITORIAL & SANITATION TECHNICIAN
to help maintain a clean, safe, and GMP-compliant manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring our equipment and production areas meet quality and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and disinfecting of offices, restrooms, laboratory, warehouse, and production areas Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors in the offices, breakrooms and restrooms Collect all waste and safely dispose of Monitor and manage cleaning inventory Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices Properly handle, dilute, and apply industrial cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely Refill soap and hand towels in the bathrooms Report potential issues to management Help with monitoring waste tank Help with cleaning spills on production floor, when needed
What You Need:
High school diploma or GED equivalent 1+ years of experience in janitorial, sanitation, or custodial roles (manufacturing, food processing, or pharmaceutical environments strongly preferred) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods Attention to detail Specialized safety certifications (like OSHA 10-Hour) or hazardous material handling are a plus Excellent attendance Ability to prioritize tasks Excellent organizational skills Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
Preferred:
High degree of precision to ensure no missed contaminants or safety hazards Comfort in operating automated cleaning machinery and dismantling industrial equipment Understanding of PPE protocols, MSDS/SDS sheets, and OSHA guidelines
