MUST HAVE TERMINAL BACKGROUND

Your energetic approach to cleaning and sanitation will ensure that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of terminal areas, including waiting zones, loading docks, restrooms, and common spaces Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to maintain floor care, surface sanitation, and overall cleanliness Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and document cleaning activities accurately Maintain environmental services standards by adhering to sanitation procedures specific to hospital or transportation environments Ensure proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and uphold high standards of janitorial service Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience, preferably within hospital or commercial cleaning environments Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for environmental services Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and infection control protocols Experience with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors Join us in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments!
