Role:

We are a fast-paced, growing powersports and equipment business looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team. This is a highly varied role where you will take complete ownership of two critical areas: ensuring our machine inventory looks immaculate and ready for customers, and keeping our shop grounds maintained to a high professional standard. If you enjoy working with your hands, have basic mechanical aptitude, take absolute pride in making equipment look pristine, and can work efficiently without constant supervision, this role is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Detailing:

Meticulously hand-wash, wax, and clean used powersports equipment and machinery to showroom quality for customer pickup, delivery, or online marketing photos.

Equipment Uncrating & Setup:

Assist with uncrating and assembling new UTVs, side-by-sides, and lawn mowers. Perform basic pre-delivery inspections (PDI) using hand tools to ensure factory specifications and quality standards are met.

Property Maintenance:

Operate a commercial zero-turn mower and string trimmer (weed whip) to keep the shop acreage, fence lines, and facility grounds clean, sharp, and well-maintained.

Shop & Lot Support:

Assist in moving equipment around the lot and wash bay. Keep tools, assembly areas, and detailing bays organized and organized.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude; experience safely using hand tools and power tools for light assembly or mechanics. Proven experience safely and cleanly operating a commercial zero-turn lawn mower and weed whip. An eye for detail—someone who naturally spots the missed grease, dirt, or streaks and takes pride in a flawlessly detailed machine. Self-motivated and reliable; ability to manage a checklist of tasks independently and stay on pace. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working outdoors or in a wash bay in various weather conditions. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Prior experience in detailing, powersports assembly, or commercial landscaping is a plus but not required for a fast learner.

Schedule:

Day shift M-F 8:30-5:30 + Opportunity for Saturday overtime 8:30-1pm

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
