Vehicle Porter / Inventory Assistant - Planet Powersports Planet Powersports is seeking a motivated, responsible, team player who loves powersports! Our machines and our customer's machines are their pride and joy and we need the right person to help us manage and care for the vehicles and the grounds we keep them in. We sell fun and doing it should be FUN - Motorcycles, Watercraft, ATVs, Side by Sides, and Snowmobiles! Upbeat & fun atmosphere in a family owned business with TONS of growth opportunity! SERVICE PORTER JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely Operate Units Commonly Serviced and Sold by Dealer Maintain Cleanliness and Organization of The Service Units Maintain Cleanliness of The Facility in The Service Areas Maintain and Repair the Building and Grounds Open all gates and buildings/doors (back warehouse) Remove battery charge carts from the sales floor. Store carts by service area Bring any units, both new and used out front of store for sale Sweep floors, remove trash and cardboard from the tech/service area. During workday : Keep service bays clean/organized Remove customer drop off units from parking area (front of store) Continue to help service technicians by bringing in service units and/or getting parts for service.CLEAN ALL CUSTOMER UNITS AFTER WORK IS COMPLETED
(Units should look cleaner than when it arrived) Prep all units going into service bays (pressure wash all units from all dirt/mud) Keep customer unit area organized and cleaned Clean parking lot of trash/debris Mow/trim/weed as needed. Unload new unit drop offs from shipping containers (As needed) End of workday: Continue to hook up units with a battery cart. battery tender lead, install one on unit) Bring units back from out front of the store. Ensure all doors are secured (back warehouse) Secure and lock both gates Ensure all customer drop off vehicles are secured inside property.Benefits:
