Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and compliant with cleanliness standards. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive atmosphere for employees, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the overall safety and appearance of our spaces through diligent cleaning and custodial tasks. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, to maintain a professional appearance Handle waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any safety hazards or damages promptly Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety regulations and company standards Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, and industrial cleaning methods Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale environments Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols consistently Join us in creating clean, safe, and inviting spaces! Responsibilities include:
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming.
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Sanitize Bathrooms, Kitchen, high-touch areas and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling.
- Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards.
- Ensure cleaning meets health and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
