Job Description

AUTOMOTIVE RENTAL PORTER

THE POSITION
The Rental Porter is responsible for cleaning, porting, checking in/out loaner vehicles, off-site transport, and customer support.

A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required. Ability to complete tasks on your own as well as with a team. Attention to detail is imperative. Customer service and computer skills preferred.
Education and Experience:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills. High School Diploma or GED.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Cleaning loaner vehicles to company specifications. Porting, parking, plating/de-plating loaner vehicles per the ins/outs of the loaner fleet. Detailed walk arounds to survey for damage and follow proper procedures. Customer service skills that allow for the checking in/out of vehicles. Light computer and office work as needed.
Physical Requirements:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Frequently required to get in and out of vehicles. Requires the ability to lift 40 pounds of material. Works frequently outside in different weather conditions.
