Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead Custodian to oversee the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our school facilities. In this vital leadership role, you will supervise custodial staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and manage daily operations to support a welcoming and healthy environment for students and staff alike.

Head Custodian Hours:

6:00 am - 2:30 Year round employee Duties Lead and supervise custodial staff to ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to promote teamwork and accountability Oversee cleaning routines including floors, restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common areas using commercial cleaning techniques Manage laundry services for staff uniforms or linens as needed within the school facilities Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols Support janitorial operations by training staff in proper cleaning procedures and hospitality standards Skills Proven experience in custodial work, hotel housekeeping management, or commercial cleaning environments Supervising or leadership experience in janitorial or custodial roles Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety regulations Experience with laundry services and maintaining cleanliness standards in hospitality settings Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment Join us as a Lead Custodian and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming educational environment. Pay:

$16.90 - $21.12 per hour
