Commercial Janitor

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Commercial Janitor to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. Schedule:

Mon-Wed-Fri after 5pm Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling instructions to prevent accidents or contamination Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other floor care machinery to maintain pristine flooring surfaces Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitization to uphold cleanliness standards Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams Practice safe manual handling techniques during heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or cleaning equipment Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and floor buffing procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safe lifting practices Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent manual handling skills combined with physical stamina for extended periods of work Able to bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, and lift up to 50lbs without assistance, throughout shift Ability to read and communicate in English Join us as a Commercial Janitor and be part of a team committed to creating clean, safe environments that support the success of our organization.
