Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure durability and appearance. Conduct custodial tasks such as restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to support facility operations. Assist with industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support ongoing operations. Support residential painting projects by preparing surfaces and ensuring work areas are kept tidy during renovations or touch-ups. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and industrial cleaning tools. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or hazards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is advantageous. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or troubleshooting is a plus. Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and procedures ensures efficient task completion. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Strong physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
