The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on both industrial and commercial cleaning standards. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and stripping to ensure high-quality floor maintenance. Conduct thorough custodial duties, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are stocked and in good condition. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, demonstrating flexibility in managing priorities. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility. Take the initiative to complete tasks in a timely manor. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with floor care methods such as buffing, stripping, and waxing is desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
