Head Porter

Job Overview Skalnek Ford, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Head Porter to join our team in Orion Twp., Michigan. As a Head Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the schedule for the Porters/Lot attendants at Skalnek Ford. You will be the the overall liaison between the management and the porter staff . You will need to know the schedule for the staff and the work load for each day, direct individuals and report back to management. As head Porter you will guide the staff in the overall appearance and organization of our lot. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the lot clean and organized, ensuring vehicles are readily available for test drives and showcasing our inventory to its best advantage. Salary Range:

Valid Driver's License:

Must possess a valid driver's license to move and position vehicles as needed. Responsibilities Maintaining the Porter schedule , lot maintenance, keeping the dealership lot clean, ensuring it is free from debris and well-maintained on a daily basis.

Vehicle Presentation:

Maintain a neat and attractive display of vehicles by positioning them correctly and ensuring they are clean.

Customer Assistance:

Greet customers in a friendly manner, offer assistance with locating vehicles of interest, and provide answers to any questions they may have.

Inventory Oversight:

Keep track of vehicle locations, ensuring they are readily available for test drives and showcasing.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Management team throughout the day to support the sales staff and their efforts and provide necessary assistance.
