Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Post-Construction Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for transforming newly completed construction sites into pristine, welcoming spaces. Your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will ensure every surface is spotless, every corner is sanitized, and the environment is safe and ready for occupancy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the final phase of construction projects, delivering satisfaction to clients and supporting the seamless transition from build to use. We have 4 sites starting where cleaners will be readying new apartments as they are being built for move in. Staff clean rooms 3 times starting with a rough clean, then start over to final clean them and finally touch them up for turn over. Each job will go for months and cleaners with abilities to clean to standard in a fast pace environment will have no shortage of work for the next 6 months of already booked work and beyond should they fit the team. Looking for someone who is good at managing people as well as managing budget and pace of job with plenty of support and over site. Communication skills a MUST. Duties Thoroughly clean and remove debris from construction sites, including dust, dirt, paint splatters, and leftover materials Perform detailed residential cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens Conduct floor care including buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to ensure a polished finish Manage laundry duties for cleaning rags and flat mop pads as needed. Sanitize all surfaces according to health standards, ensuring a safe environment for future occupants Utilize janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently to maximize productivity and quality Address client-specific requests for cleaning or special projects to exceed expectations Qualifications Experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or on active construction sites preferred Communication skills to relay site challenges, achievements and site goals daily is a top priority Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and sanitation procedures Strong background in janitorial services with knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor a MUST Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and proper maintenance practices Join us in creating spotless environments that leave lasting impressions!
