Dunnage Cleaner

Job Description B.E.A.M. Industries is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as a Dunnage Cleaner. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment by cleaning, inspecting, and preparing dunnage materials used in shipping and receiving operations. As a Dunnage Cleaner, you will help ensure that pallets, crates, containers, and packaging materials remain in good condition and ready for reuse. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are highly valued. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize dunnage materials using appropriate tools and cleaning agents. Inspect dunnage materials for damage, wear, contamination, or defects and report concerns to supervisors. Organize cleaned materials to ensure efficient storage and accessibility. Safely operate cleaning equipment, including pressure washers, vacuums, and other cleaning tools as assigned. Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance tasks. Assist with the proper disposal of unusable dunnage materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. Support shipping and receiving operations by ensuring clean materials are readily available. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Previous cleaning, janitorial, warehouse, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates. Ability to safely operate basic cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Ability to work in an industrial or warehouse environment.
