Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and dirt buildup. Apply buffing procedures to restore shine to hard flooring surfaces, enhancing their overall appearance. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas by sanitizing surfaces and restocking supplies. Use janitorial equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and cleaning solutions safely and effectively to complete daily tasks. Follow established environmental services protocols to ensure eco-friendly cleaning practices are upheld. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment for all. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services within commercial or institutional settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums with confidence. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment throughout the shift. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled hours.
