Reporting Structure:
- Report to the Team Lead or Custodian Supervisor.
Cleaning Responsibilities:
- Use approved methods and materials for cleaning and maintaining the facility.
- Perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
- Operate floor equipment, including the auto scrubber, side-by-side floor cleaner, carpet extractor, and vacuum.
General Tasks:
- Empty trash receptacles.
- Clean furniture, windows, window sills, and walls.
- Stock restrooms, the janitorial closet, and breakroom supplies.
- Set up for events and clean up afterward.
- Perform light building maintenance as needed.
- Handle general snow removal and lawn care when required.
- Arm the alarm system and check that all exterior doors are secure.
- Provide assistance during staffing shortages.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Position requirements include at least 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience.
- Must pass a drug test and physical examination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
