Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a polished appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks in larger facilities or specialized areas requiring extra attention to detail Assist with custodial duties like trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards encountered during cleaning routines Utilize janitorial and custodial equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain cleanliness logs and communicate any issues or supply needs promptly to supervisors Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with an understanding of commercial and residential cleaning standards Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for different flooring types Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a clean and safe environment while developing their skills in facility maintenance.
