Full Job Description PURPOSE:
To maintain a clean, welcoming environment at Crayola Experience through regular cleaning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONBSIBITILIES
Provide outstanding guest service consistent with Crayola and Mall of America missions and standards. Support the Crayola brand's educational mission to use the arts as a tool for intellectual and emotional development of children. Clean restrooms including sinks, toilets, mirrors, walls, floors using provided cleaning solutions. Assist with stocking of supplies. Wash walls, pillars, and clean glass. Clean seating areas, railings, and drinking fountains. Responsible for organizing and transporting a cleaning supply cart. Patrol Crayola Experience for messes, clean spills, pick up litter, remove stickers and gum. Provide directions and assistance when guests need. Vacuum carpeted areas. Sweep and wet mop floors within the attraction and retail store. Empty trash containers, remove waste and recyclables. Complete logs documenting equipment use. Ensure the overall safety and cleanliness of the work area and surrounding areas. Provide outstanding internal and external guest service at all times. May clean high glass and fixtures requiring use of ladders and/or scaffolding. Operate walk behind floor scrubber as trained. Cross train with other MOA and Crayola departments, and willing to be designated to assist other departments when needed. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and high volume days. Perform other job duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be at least 16 years of age. Able to understand verbal or written instructions. Able to perform physical tasks including lifting, scrubbing, sweeping, and mopping. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Knowledge of the safe handling of equipment and materials used in custodial duties preferred. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member will frequently be required to speak and listen to guests in order to understand their needs and communicate a solution. Team member must also possess a level of hearing that will continuously allow them to be aware of their surroundings and recognize when a guest needs their attention. Specific vision abilities required by this job include frequent close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members are required to be able to tolerate multiple sensory stimuli at once while performing their duties. These stimuli may include:
