Responsibilities:
Service and clean assigned areas to ensure environmental service standards are met
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Change linens and clean units including patient rooms, group rooms, offices and common areas Cleaning and extracting all floor surfaces utilizing floor care equipment, maintaining floor care equipment Washing interior and exterior windows Trash removal and stock supplies Maintain safety throughout facility by complying with Joint Commission standards, Infection Control Protocols and other PrairieCare policies After training, staff should be able to manage disruptive or explosive patients, with the emphasis on personal safety/protection
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Thorough knowledge of Environmental Services procedures, generally gained through prior Environmental Service experience Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and CDC safety guidelines as they pertain to maintaining a clean and safe work environment preferred Knowledge of various industrial cleaning machines preferred Ability to multitask and use supplies in a safe and cost effective manner Willing and able to learn carpet/floor care machines Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred Compensation for this role ranges from $16-$21 per hour depending on education and experience.
