Job Description

Stella Maris Academy is dedicated to preparing lifelong learners who lead, love, and serve as Jesus taught; transforming our world one student at a time. Responsible for maintaining the school building through cleaning and custodial work. Hours are approximately 2pm - 7pm after school, following the school calendar.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep school spaces clean and tidy through sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and trash and recycling removal throughout the building. Replenish bathroom supplies as necessary. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request supplies as needed. Check all light bulbs and replace as necessary. Set up tables and chairs as requested. Once a year, contribute to stripping and waxing of floors and shampooing of rugs. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Attend and/or complete all workshops and training as directed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and complete Safe Environment training. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or One year of related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess a valid driver's license.
