Commercial Cleaner

Nelson Auto Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner & light Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments and light maintenance tasks as needed. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and employees alike. Duties Perform basic cleaning and sanitizing tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and dusting in designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms. Wipe down glass doors, windows and mirrors. Assist with exterior cleaning and maintenance. Lawn maintenance, snow removal, weed control, etc. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to the ordering agent. Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as required, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned. Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies that may arise during shifts. Perform light maintenance tasks as needed. Changing light bulbs, light repairs, etc. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is an advantage. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude towards work responsibilities.
