Job Description
Overview Progressive Systems Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees and visitors. This position plays an important role in keeping our facility looking its best and supporting the daily operations of our team. Responsibilities Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and common areas. Dust, wipe down, and sanitize windows, walls, fixtures, furniture, and other surfaces. Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed. Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks. Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or repair issues identified during routine cleaning. Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and safety practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to frequently perform the following activities: Bend, squat, kneel, and reach while cleaning and handling supplies. Lift and carry trash containers, cleaning equipment, and supplies. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Visually inspect work areas and identify cleaning needs from a distance.
