Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring integrity and appearance. Execute janitorial tasks in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are tidy, organized, and hygienic. Carry out custodial maintenance including light repairs, replacing fixtures, and ensuring equipment functions properly. Support facilities maintenance by inspecting building systems, reporting issues promptly, and assisting with minor repairs or painting projects as needed. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of chemicals in accordance with safety protocols. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when required, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Prior experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or residential painting is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively; familiarity with facilities maintenance tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in various environmental conditions. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
