Duties Lead and supervise a team of cleaning staff during weekend shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly Coordinate cleaning routine and assign specific duties to team members based on priorities and skill levels Actively participate in cleaning activities including janitorial tasks, laundry services, restroom sanitation, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal Conduct quality checks to maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the facility Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of equipment Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage Promote a positive work environment by motivating staff, providing feedback, and fostering teamwork Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, preferably within hospitality or hotel environments Supervising or management experience in janitorial or housekeeping settings Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, laundry procedures, and custodial standards Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and organize a team effectively Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods This role is ideal for proactive individuals eager to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
