JOB SUMMARY
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweeping, buffing, cleaning, stripping and waxing of tile floors Vacuuming, cleaning, scrubbing and drying of carpeting Dusting, cleaning and waxing of office furniture General care and cleaning of lavatories General shop cleanliness; removal of wastes in production area Grounds care (lawn, roof, snow) Maintain a record/log of assigned area Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Must have strong mechanical abilities and a mechanical background Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
