The Job You Will Perform:
The Maintenance Associate program provides on-the-job and on-line training in the areas of mechanical, electrical and preventative maintenance. Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level Complete emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations Accurately use measurement and test equipment Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork Work independently as well as part of a team Follow all safety rules and practices Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
The Skills You Will Bring:
High school diploma or GED 2 year technical degree in a relevant field of study OR experience working in the corrugated industry Mechanical aptitude and strong interest to work with mechanical equipment Willingness to be trained and to perform as a multi-craft mechanical Maintenance Technician Outstanding communications, interpersonal and team skills Desire for a long-term opportunity Action oriented and drive for results Customer focused Organized
