Custodian

About us We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an essential role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of custodial practices and techniques
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
