  • $16.89 an hour Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description The purpose of this job is to perform general cleaning, janitorial duties, and light maintenance of assigned property and buildings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job.
Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description Ensures building and facilities, including common areas, are properly cleaned, maintained, and available for patron use. Monitors and maintains cleaning supply inventory and ensures cleaning equipment is in proper working condition. Removes trash and debris from interior and exterior of facility. Maintains lawns, sidewalks, and parking areas; shovels snow. Operates hand/power mowers and related equipment. Follows safety policies and guidelines. Provides effective customer service to patrons. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function. Supervisory Responsibilities Job has no responsibility for the direction or supervision of others. Human Collaboration and Job Impact

  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent.
No experience required Licenses or Certifications Valid driver's license. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position
Knowledge of:
Custodial equipment operation and maintenance, cleaning methods, and supplies. Department inventory, policies, and procedures. Safety standards and protocol.
Skill in:
Communicating verbally and in writing to meet the needs of the audience Reading, understanding, and following directions Maintaining basic records Ability to: Provide high levels of effective customer service and maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Multitask and prioritize work. Work independently. Operate cleaning equipment. Focus on tasks. Successfully complete a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check. Work Environment

Hours/Days Monday through Friday, 5:00am-1:00pm. Starting Salary $15.53
