Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of a busy nail salon in. This vital role ensures a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness through efficient cleaning practices. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall customer experience and the professional appearance of our salon. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of salon floors, workstations, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain polished, spotless surfaces Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning, adhering to all safety protocols and handling instructions Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting supplies, trash bins, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces including mirrors, furniture, fixtures, and windows to ensure a pristine environment Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning or specialized sanitation Assist with light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or residential settings Familiarity with cleaning techniques involving chemical agents and proper handling procedures Ability to operate floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment effectively Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during heavy lifting tasks Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Excellent time management skills to complete daily cleaning routines efficiently Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Join our team and help create a clean, safe, and inviting space where clients can relax and enjoy their experience.
