Our Sanitation Specialists start out at $20/hour as well as comprehensive benefits! The Sanitation Specialist position is an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday position from 6:30am-2:30pm working in our state of the art, climate controlled facility, with the opportunity for voluntary overtime and, at times, may require overtime beyond the normal workday. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the worksite as a whole. This includes the production floor, offices, common areas, restrooms, and the surrounding grounds. This position works independently of direct supervision and requires a self-motivated and self-sustaining individual. The sanitation specialist must be able to communicate well with their supervisor and must comply with all Safety and Safe Quality Foods policies. at optimum speeds in a team atmosphere. Include:

Performing general janitorial duties throughout the plant and attached offices Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming Servicing, cleaning, and suppling restrooms Mixing water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications Cleaning indoor and outdoor windows, glass partitions, or mirrors Cleaning employee common areas Cleaning and sweeping plant aisles, driveways, yard and parking areas Picking up trash and debris in and around the plant Emptying all trash containers in facility as needed Stocking PPE stations throughout facility Operating scissor lift for overhead cleaning

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Custodial experience preferred. Ability to stand and walk for the full shift is required Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to effectively communicate Knowledge of cleaning methods and technologies Ability to use all required cleaning instruments and equipment Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines Morris Packaging offers a comprehensive benefits package to provide the protection you need today and in the future.
