Night Custodian

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent General working knowledge of custodial work

Goal:

To provide students and staff with a safe, attractive, comfortable and clean learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Unlock and lock all doors as directed. Assume responsibility for closing of the building daily, security all doors and windows and turning off all lights. Keep grounds free of rubbish. Keep storage rooms neat and organized. Greet all staff, students and patrons in a polite manner. Clean, disinfect and supply restrooms daily. Clean and remove trash from all rooms, halls and offices daily. Clean windows. walls and furniture as needed. Clean and disinfect all locker rooms and showers daily. Sweep and clean gymnasium, including bleachers daily. Set up rooms as requested for meetings, including moving furniture and equipment. Handle safely and mark all cleaning chemicals. Replace light bulbs as need. Promote positive relations between the building, District, Board and community. Execute all policies, rules and regulations adopted by the Board. Other duties as assigned by building Principal.

Terms of Employment:

Contract to be established by the Board - General 12 months, 8 hours pr day.

Evaluation:

Annually by the building Principal. A criminal fingerprint/background clearance is required.
