Dental Office Janitorial

Overview Hillcrest Dental Group in Gulfport, MS is seeking a professional janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. This role involves performing janitorial and minor custodial tasks within the dental practice, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or related fields, with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional healthcare setting. Hours of the day worked are negotiable. Duties Perform routine cleaning of lobby, operatories, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance Dusting all surfaces regularly including reception desks Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and dentist offices Trash removal (non-biohazard) Restock supplies in restrooms and patient areas as needed Perform light maintenance tasks and reporting larger issues to management Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or healthcare environments Experience with floor care techniques Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures is essential Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness This role is vital in supporting the overall operation of the dental office by ensuring a sanitary and professional environment. Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
