Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various areas, ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Conduct routine cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and high-touch surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain supplies by restocking paper products, soaps, and other consumables in designated areas. Assist with light custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to prevent contamination. Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams. Use commercial cleaning tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols; operate floor care equipment like buffers and polishers efficiently. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Proven skills in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors. Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and equipment enhances job performance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all tasks are completed efficiently.
