Janitor/Cleaner

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a polished appearance Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, dusting, and surface disinfecting Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs and equipment upkeep Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably within commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors confidently Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus but not required Join us in creating a pristine environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued!
