In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Clean carpets using specialized equipment such as carpet extractors or steam cleaners to remove stains and dirt Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms to ensure availability of essentials for staff and visitors Follow safety protocols and environmentally friendly cleaning practices to promote sustainability and safety standards Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly Maintain detailed cleaning logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and environmental services is advantageous Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and steam cleaners effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout shifts Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that foster productivity and well-being!
