Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Service Lot Porter and be the vital link that keeps our dealership running smoothly! In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming and outgoing vehicles, ensuring they are moved, parked, and organized efficiently. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for our guests and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in guest services, hospitality, and vehicle operations while supporting our dealership's daily operations. This job requires you to be over 18 to meet state safety and OSHA requirements. Responsibilities Safely move, park, clean and retrieve vehicles within the dealership lot using manual transmission vehicles and proper driving techniques. Assist guests with vehicle parking, loading and retrieval, providing friendly and efficient customer service. Maintain a clean, organized lot and service area by ensuring vehicles are properly positioned and accessible. Support delivery drivers with vehicle transport around the property or to designated locations and unloading. Communicate clearly with team members regarding vehicle status or guest requests to ensure smooth operations. Operate a forklift. Follow all safety protocols and parking regulations. A motorcycle endorsement is handy but not required. Assist Techs with repairs when needed. Clean shop area. Help with all lot and lawn maintenance. Experience Fork Lift certification (we may offer training). Valid driver's license with experience driving manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with dealership operations or as a delivery driver is a plus. Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guests. Dealership experience or familiarity with automotive or motorsports environments is beneficial but not required; training will be provided to eager learners.
