Short-Term Rental Cleaner

Job Summary Locally owned short-term rental needs a turnover cleaner. You'll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing a sweet 2-bedroom modern cabin (new construction) that charms its guests with a spotless interior and a lot of heart.

I'm looking for that gem of a person — someone thoughtful, dependable, and detail-oriented who truly cares about creating an exceptional guest experience. We value care and consistency. This role is best suited for someone with a reliable schedule and strong follow who delights in the details. We aren't your average rental, and our guests are generally amazing . •Owner is very involved in this property and is willing the train the right person, and is often around to lend a hand .• With only 4 hours between guests, punctuality and reliability are crucial. HOURS This is an independent contractor position. Turnovers are typically 11 am - 3 pm, and cleaning can take 2-4 hours, depending on the day. (Some days are more flexible if we don't have a guest checking in until the next day.) Turnovers are typically every 4-7 days, and could be on any day of the week. We'd love to find one person who can commit to the majority of these. (If you aren't available on certain dates, we can work around that, but we need to know in advance.)

LOCATION

We are 4 miles up a dirt road in Emigrant, MT. Beautiful spot. But 4WD is a must Oct -April.

COMPENSATION

$150 per turnover. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to health standards Conduct detailed floor care such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness. Manage laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels for each guest turnover. Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, kitchen essentials, and linens to ensure the property is fully stocked. Maintain a checklist of cleaning tasks completed and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly. Qualifications We'd love if you have experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management, but we are willing to train someone who has the right attitude and availability.

Strong communication skills:

We expect clear communication on each turnover. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently. The turnover is often a hustle! Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

ABOUT US

We live next door, and this rental is relatively new with only 5-star ratings. We have done all of this work ourselves up to this point, and we're excited to have the right person become part of our "team" that makes this cabin so special. We have high standards - but we do it all with a smile!
