Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain surfaces. Carry out custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively. Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and maintained in a sanitary condition. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or needs to management. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. facilities maintenance can be beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in all tasks performed.
