In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to a positive environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial or custodial experience who thrive working independently during evening hours. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to maintain a pristine appearance. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break areas following health and safety standards. Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage waste disposal efficiently. Dust surfaces, fixtures, windowsills, and furniture to uphold cleanliness throughout the facility. Conduct routine inspections of cleaning equipment and supplies; report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support general facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including light repairs or painting touch-ups. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies; ability to operate cleaning machinery safely. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
