Position Overview:

The Environmental Services Tech is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment that contributes to the comfort and healing of patients, visitors, and staff. This role supports the overall quality and appearance of the facility through routine and specialized cleaning tasks. Perform cleaning and sanitization duties in patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and public areas according to established protocols. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Handle and dispose of waste properly, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed and report repair or maintenance issues promptly. Contribute to infection control efforts through proper use of chemicals, equipment, and protective measures.

Requirements:

Must be local to Asheville, NC Prior healthcare housekeeping experience (1 year) preferred Must pass background check and drug screening ID verification video required for onboarding Recent TB test (within 3 months) Proof of immunization or immunity for Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B Influenza vaccine (in season) or signed declination Respirator fit test (EVS Technician level)
