Janitor/General Cleaner - Downtown Asheville

Job Summary Quality Janitorial Group is seeking a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented janitor to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment in assigned commercial industrial facilities. This is a 5pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday position. Core Responsibilities Empty Trash and replace liners Dust and wipe surfaces Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas Refill paper products and restroom supplies Report on maintenance and safety concerns to manager Follow company cleaning procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications Professionalism:

Strong customer service, clear communication skills, and professional appearance/attitude are required.

Autonomy:

Ability to work efficiently independently or collaborate with a team as situations dictate.

Experience:

Previous porter, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we provide comprehensive onthejob training.

Requirements:

Must be willing to undergo standard facility background checks and screening protocols. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. routinely without accommodations (handling trash bags, supply cases, and mop buckets).
