Day Porter/Janitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our facilities team. The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch areas
• Clean and maintain floors,
• Ensure all areas of the facility, including restrooms and break rooms, are clean and well-stocked
• Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks as needed
• Assist with custodial duties, such as emptying trash and recycling bins
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility's exterior
• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in facilities maintenance and cleaning
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for extended periods
