The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and safe for employees and visitors. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and organized environment. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
